Modern Apprenticeships

Modern apprenticeships, funded by Skills Development Scotland (SDS), provide a unique opportunity for individuals to ‘earn while they learn’. These apprenticeships serve as an excellent pathway for gaining qualifications that are advantageous for both the trainee and the employer. With funding available to candidates of all ages, depending on eligibility and availability, individuals interested in pursuing SVQs in social services and healthcare, as well as social services focused on children and young people, can take advantage of this supportive initiative. By participating in a modern apprenticeship, candidates can build their skills, enhance their employability, and contribute meaningfully to their chosen fields.
